Senior Dietitian, Southern Fleurieu Health Service, Harbourview Tce, Victor Harbor, also works privately on Sat. I am a generalist dietitian with 32 years of experience in many aspects of dietetics and nutrition. I work both in private practice and for a SA government community health service. Food chemical sensitivity, in particular, has been my special interest area for over 25years, and I have run several training workshops for SA colleagues on this subject. Although I do see some children, most of my clients are adults, who may have a wide range of symptoms possibly caused by food chemical sensitivity (skin, respiratory, nervous system and gut). I am very experienced with managing IBS, assessing people individually to determine whether a low chemical or low FODMAP diet (or combined approach) is most likely to be of benefit. I try to be flexible with appointment times to suit people travelling from a distance. |
