10 million visitors to Food Intolerance Network

Today the 10 millionth visitor came to the free Food Intolerance Network website.

Sue and I can still remember the day in 1999 when the website was started and we were so excited when we had 30 visitors in one day. Most days now we have 3,500 and often many more. A million in the last 8 months.

The Network is still run as a free service and is an unincorporated body whose costs have been met for the past 24 years from the sale of Sue Dengate's books and by her giving talks. It works because of our supportive community sharing information and experience.

To remind you, the Network consists of 13,030 families just now, mostly in Australia and New Zealand but with members in USA, UK, EU, Canada and several other countries. A grateful member just summarised what we do as "helping families and taking corporations to task".

We'd say that's exactly what we do.

The Network provides

  • independent information about the effects of food on behaviour, health and learning in both children and adults, and
  • support for families using a low-chemical elimination diet free of additives, low in salicylates, amines and flavour enhancers (FAILSAFE) for health, behaviour and learning problems.

Thanks again for your help and support!
