Take half potato pastry recipe, roll out for oil-sprayed 22cm pie dish, trim.

Beat together 2 eggs, 2 tbsp soy or other milk. Add 1 cup cold failsafe cooked vegetables, cubed (eg potato, peas (mod glutamates, if permitted), small bit of pumpkin (moderate salicylates)), add salt if desired and pour into pie dish. Top with a lightly fried sliced shallot. Bake 200˚C for 20 mins. Serves 4 with salad.
